The four rules Shopify B2B leaves to you.
Minimum orders per location, order approval, tax-exempt certificates and deposits. Set them per company or location in the admin; buyers see a plain sentence at checkout. Works on Basic, Grow and Advanced.
- Minimum order for Acme Denver is $500.00. Your subtotal is $120.50.
- Orders for Acme Wholesale need approval before checkout. Request approval at /apps/proviso/approvals/request.
- Your order request for Acme Wholesale was approved. You can check out for up to $1,329.95 until Wed, 21 Oct.
The messages are the app’s own, taken from a test store. Each rule can carry a custom message.
What each module does
Minimum order per location
A minimum subtotal, a minimum quantity, or both, for all B2B buyers, one company, or a single location. The most specific rule wins. Buyers can build the cart freely and are stopped at checkout with the message above.
Order approval
Orders above a threshold wait for a named approver at the company. They approve or reject from an email, optionally with a spending cap. Approvals expire on their own, and both events are Shopify Flow triggers.
Tax-exempt certificates
Upload a certificate per location with its jurisdiction and expiry. The app sets Shopify’s own tax-exempt flag, reminds you 30 and 7 days before expiry, and clears the flag when the certificate lapses.
Deposits on any plan
A deposit percentage per company. From a draft order, the app sends a deposit invoice, then a balance invoice, and tracks both to paid. No Plus plan needed.
Pricing
Single module
$19 / monthAny one of the four. Switch which one in Settings at any time.
All modules
$49 / monthAll four, for stores that need more than one.
Both plans start with a 30-day free trial, billed through Shopify. Cancel by uninstalling.
Questions
Does it change my theme or checkout?
No. Rules are enforced by a Shopify Function, so there is nothing to add to the theme and nothing that needs Plus. The only storefront page is the approval request form, served through an app proxy on your own domain.
Which plans does it work on?
Any plan with Shopify’s native B2B companies turned on, including Basic. Plus merchants can use it too, though Plus already covers deposits at checkout.
What happens to buyer data if I uninstall?
Rules, approvals, certificates and deposit records for your store are deleted when Shopify sends the uninstall notice, within 48 hours. Details in the privacy policy.
Who is behind it?
A two-person shop. Email goes to a person, usually within a business day: support@tewodros.me.
Already installed?
